A joint venture between the Littlehampton Harbour Board and Lafarge Tarmac in removing the shoal bank in the narrows of the Harbour entrance is complete.
Working 4 hours either side of low water for 6 tides has resulted in the shoal bank being significantly reduced by up to 2 metres across the whole length.
