Safety management system

The LHB's Safety Management System was reviewed and audited by Nicholson’s Risk Management Ltd in December 2010 and found to be compliant with the requirements of the Port Marine Safety Code.

This means that there is a safety management system (SMS) which enables the Board to continue to set out its safety policies, the organisation which can put them into practice and the procedures for a planned and systematic approach to policy implementation.
