The east training wall light beacon is being replaced with an improved structure which will exhibit a new Quick Green light with a range of 6nM. Work commenced on 3 October, carried out by the construction vessel Walcon Wizard. Photos, The new beacon lying alongside the old. This will be the fifth year Raw Energy Pursuits have organised an Aquathlon at Littlehampton Marina and we are proud to have been awarded the British Aquathlon Championships for 2011. The Boat House Cafe/Restaurant will be focal point for the racing which starts at Midday. Athletes will start in four waves from the slipway alongisde the Marina at high water and swim downstream to the Red Footbridge before returning to the Marina (750m). The 5km run will head along Ferry Road eventually reaching the village of Climping where there will be a turn point at 2.5km. The Boat House will be available for food during the event where specatators can enjoy the action from the raised decking area. Top competitors are expected to finish the course in under 30 minutes. Prize-giving will take place at The Boat House Cafe where National Age Group Medals will be presented.

Hosted by Spirit FM from the Arun View Public House saw 150 ducks racing to the finish line In the River Arun on 21st April 2011.The winning duck, number 123 was called 'Chris P Duck' and sponsored by Whiteheads of Chichester. For further information visit Spirit Fm.
Took place at the Arun Yacht club on 7th May where all harbour users could receive free RNLI lifejacket and vessel checks, advice from West Sussex Fire and Rescue, Project Kraken team and the local Coastguards.
